The collaboration between Sony and Ericsson corporations began in October 2001 and represented the most important junction on the cell phone market. The two companies results could be a lot better for both parties if they combined Sony’s experience in electronics with Ericsson’s history in communications. Thus, the Sony Ericsson mobile phones appeared as the result of this union, proving that the business decision for the merger was one of the happiest possible.

Beside the highly praised and really good Sony Ericsson mobile phones, the company is also well-known for its other products in the field of electronics such as wireless voice devices, hi-tech accessories, wireless data devices, wireless systems and mobile music devices. The company was propelled way ahead of its competitors thanks to the phones in the cyber-shot and the Walkman series. Candy bar phones are also very popular besides the Walkman and the cyber-shot designs.

Sony Erricson mobile phones are great for all categories of users regardless of age, gender or social status. They look sleek and stylish, but they also meet high operational standards. In addition, their interface which is user-friendly and intuitive together with their competitive prices contribute to their popularity.
